Susannah Muskovitz

Susannah Muskovitz retired at the end of 2024 after 40 years representing labor unions. During her time as a principal with Muskovitz & Lemmerbrock, LLC, she was a Certified Specialist in labor and employment law. She has also been recognized every year as a "Super Lawyer" beginning in 2005. In 2007, she was honored as one of the "Top 50 Women Lawyers" by Northern Ohio Live Magazine. She maintains an AV ® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell for Very High Ethical Standards and Very High to Preeminent Legal Ability.

During her 40 years of practice, Susannah represented labor unions in both the public and private sectors. Susannah also worked as a neutral arbitrator for employment disputes involving individuals and was a member of the Employment, Commercial, Consumer, and Construction Arbitration Panels of the American Arbitration Association.

Susannah was an Instructor at Cleveland State University teaching Public Sector Labor Law for 10 years. She is the past chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Labor Advisory Council of the American Arbitration Association, and the Public Sector Labor Relations Association. She was a member of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee and a Fellow with the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. She also currently serves on the Executive Board of Starting Point (a resource and referral center for child care and early education).

Susannah received an AB with honors from McGill University in 1981 and a JD from Case Western Reserve University in 1984.
